New York -- In celebration of its fifth season, the New York Composers Circle will host a gala benefit concert at Steinway Hall, 109 West 57th St., on Sunday, October 29, 2006 from 5:30 to 7:00 PM. The concert will feature some of the works that NYCC audiences have particularly loved at our
previous concerts, performed by distinguished soloists and chamber groups. Composers will include:
John de Clef Pineiro, Jacob E. Goodman, Jennifer Griffith, Debra Kaye, Patricia Leonard, Eugene Marlow, Eugene McBride, Gayther Myers, Miki Nakanishi, Andy Teirstein, and Cesar Vuksic
A reception will follow the concert.
Each member of the audience will be asked to make a contribution of at least $50 to the New York Composers Circle.
